The project involves the safe demolition of unstable structures and removal of rubble and
debris from earthquake-affected villages in Zindajan District. The works support early
recovery efforts, reduce health and safety risks, and enable future upgrading activities.
Implementation is carried out through a cash-for-work modality, providing short-term
employment opportunities for the affected local communities.
